Steve Mixup is known to many as plain old 'Mixup'. He got his nickname in January 1979 when he joined the 'Weekend Lunatics' in Nottingham. Sometimes he calls himself Steve Mixup. He usually works under different names depending on the style or project he is engaged in. His moniker 'Sharp Thorns' is the closest to Steve Mixup with a bias towards more electronic sounds.
Under the name Steve Mixup he released a solo album "Small Talk" in 2013 and two singles "I Think that's what she said / Skyline" and "Maisie / Dominoes".
