New Science are a duo comprised of Pete Karkut of Leven Signs and Mixup. New Science recorded an album called 'A Monger Amongst Us' in 2015 but it wasn't released until 2026.

Pete Karkut started his career in music in the late 1970's, his best known band being 'Leven Signs' alongside Maggie Turner. Mixup and Pete had made a few experimental pieces of music in the late 80's and early 90's before renewing their acquaintance and applying their maverick talents to a concept album of sorts.
